Launched by Jacques Brune, General Manager of the Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, this initiative has resulted in the recruitment of three people who have been assigned to various departments, including catering.
The hotel has set up this initiative to integrate people with disabilities* into its teams, offering them rewarding career opportunities tailored to their skills and abilities.
Designed to develop individual talents, this approach will also enable Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa to remain an open and inclusive company, where everyone can find their place and develop professionally.
In line with its ‘Travel with a Purpose’ concept, Hilton’s CSR strategy to promote responsible travel and tourism worldwide, this initiative enables the hotel to continue its efforts to create a positive social and environmental impact through its activities for the benefit of all.
* According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there are around 1 billion disabled people in the world.
