13 start-ups have been selected for the virtual Test Drive 6. The aim of this initiative is to help emerging companies to grow their business.
La Turbine, part of the ENL Group, is a start-up incubator and accelerator located in Moka (centre). Its mission is to bridge the gap with its partners and provide professional support to aspiring entrepreneurs in order to help them develop their operations and business structure.
The Test Drive started on May 10th and will end on June 24th. Of the 60 applications received, 13 have been selected for Test Drive 6, which is a full programme that is estimated to last one month. At the end of June, the start-ups will present their projects to potential investors and business leaders. They have each been assigned a coach who will help them develop and evolve their business plans.
On June 24th, the participants will attend a big pitch during which the MCB will reward the project that has an impact on the economy and the environment with Rs 75,000. The jury members are Dominic Provençal from MCB, Nassima Sadar-Gravier from Mo Angels and Guillaume Hardy from Seed Capital Ltd.
So what is planned after this month’s Test Drive? Start-ups will have the choice to enter La Turbine’s incubation programme which will last for 12 months. They will benefit from the support of a business coach, free co-working space, visibility on various platforms, access to a network of professionals and professional workshops.
