On May 12, in the middle of the day, a gang of hooded barbarians armed with machetes attacked the Dzoumogné branch of the Mayotte Hospital, ransacking the premises and injuring Mahorais who were protesting against the blocking of the expulsion of illegal immigrants by the Comorian authorities.
During the night of May 11-12, a gang of young people of foreign origin attacked the public authorities in Dembeni, attacking the mayor, the municipal police and a team from the agglomeration community.
Attacks on elected officials and public property in Mayotte have been increasing for the past three years, in Passamainty, Mamoudzou, Kaweni, Majicavo, Ouangani, Koungou, Dzoumogné and Dembeni. Every day, the threat widens its perimeter, as it goes along, like an oil stain, the pressure spreads over the whole territory of the 101st department.
Worse, now, it is a new fact, illegal aliens are asserting through intimidation and violence that they are at home in Mayotte and that the territory of the 101st French department belongs to the Comoros, echoing recent statements made in Paris by Comorian authorities in the French national press, under the complicit gaze of the Quai d’Orsay.
Mayors are threatened and receive, like the first magistrate of Dembeni, explicit messages such as “Civil war, we are ready”, “Mayotte is Comoros”. Citizens mobilized for the return of illegal Comorian immigrants to the Comoros are attacked.
Given the deterioration of the situation, as a consequence of the pusillanimity of our diplomacy, the strategies of putting in failure the Wuambushu operation by the “droitsdelhommistes” with variable geometry and the will of the Comorian authorities to interfere in an action of French internal politics, I call for a reorganization of the State to ensure civil peace in Mayotte.
The days, perhaps even the hours, are now numbered, as evidenced by the clashes of today in Dzoumogné.
