For Absa Mauritius, Women Forward is also an opportunity to tap into its vast network on the African continent. It will facilitate contact between women entrepreneurs from Mauritius, Rodrigues and other countries to share knowledge and expand their networks. Through these trainings and follow-ups, participants will be able to access the necessary tools to develop their business by creating an individualized action plan, receive advice and discover the best practices needed to successfully overcome challenges. In addition, it will give women entrepreneurs the opportunity to be part of a cohort of like-minded women entrepreneurs, supporting each other.
This will allow participating businesses to strengthen their business to grow, solidify their offerings, expand and/or increase their social impact. The selected women will participate in a six-month program to enable them to achieve their business goals, with specialized training and coaching.
Absa Mauritius and Future Females Foundation are aware of the burden placed on women entrepreneurs. By supporting them, they recognize that female entrepreneurship is an engine of economic growth and that it is important to rehabilitate the entrepreneurial potential of women. This innovative collaboration between Absa Mauritius and Future Females Foundation takes advantage of the synergy and mutual expertise to create added value between the two entities and women entrepreneurs.
