On the occasion of the World Tourism Day, September 27, 2021, the Representation of the OIF for the Indian Ocean launches a video contest entitled: “Sustainable escapade in Indianoceania”.
Indian Ocean destinations have a unique natural and cultural heritage. This World Tourism Day is an opportunity for the residents of this region to promote their island beyond the clichéd image of beaches and coconut palms. You are a resident of one of the islands of the Indian Ocean (Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles, Comoros, Mayotte, Reunion)? This contest is for you! To participate, it’s simple!
- Fill out the registration form: https://forms.gle/TGxtSV27U79mjjwU6 and agree to the contest rules.
- Choose from the following themes: local gastronomy, respect for the environment, local culture, sustainable tourist accommodation and volunteer experience.
- Arm yourself with your camera and tell us about your sustainable getaway in a one-minute vlog.
Your video will then be viewed by a jury of experts who may award you with gift certificates of €300 and €500. Two videos will be selected per country by a jury composed of an IOF member and destination experts. You have until October 24, 2021 to participate. The ten videos selected by the juries will then be published on the Facebook page of the IOF Representation of the Indian Ocean and submitted to public votes! The grand prize winner of this contest will receive a prize of €1000!
