At the Tourist Office, Orange presented its solutions to support the development of tourism. B&Bs and other sites currently far from fixed connectivity solutions will be able to benefit from high-speed connectivity and offer good-quality wifi to their customers thanks to the Airbox 5G Wifi.
Demonstration workshops were offered to showcase the possibilities offered by 5G, notably around enriched experiences. This was the case for LegendR, a solution specializing in immersive and interactive technologies for the tourism and education sectors. It is available on smartphones and is aimed at a wide audience thanks to its extensive range of possibilities, from interactive games to historical rediscovery.
Two innovative solutions will also be on show: Virtual Tour 360°, based on immersive, interactive video that puts the user right at the heart of the action, and the XpertEye solution, which enables expertise to be shared remotely via connected glasses.
This coverage will be extended to the other islets in the near future.
