The Faune-Mayotte website is a VisioNature portal allowing the input and consultation of naturalist data on the territory of Mayotte. The implementation of this participatory site was financed by the European program Life BIODIV’OM and is managed locally by the Group for the Study and Protection of Birds in Mayotte, GEPOMAY. Thanks to Faune Mayotte, this association aims to allow a maximum of observers, beginners or experienced, to transmit information. These data are organized, synthesized and exploited with the only aim of better knowing and better protecting the nature which surrounds us.
Registration to Faune Mayotte is totally free and gives you access to a set of tools for storing, searching and summarizing your own data. By regularly transmitting your observations via the Faune-Mayotte platform or the NaturaList application, you contribute to the inventory of the living world of the island of Mayotte and participate in the implementation of concrete actions to protect its rich biodiversity…
