In the midst of an epidemic, the island could not organize its famous International Fair of Madagascar (IFM), which was transformed at the last moment into a virtual fair. The leaders hope to organize it “in real”, as early as next September, although this is merely a postponement.
“It is when everyone is questioning the way out of the crisis that we must serve as an example.” This note of optimism accompanied the launch of e-IFM, an economic platform inaugurated on the 27th of May 2021 with a virtual space putting the e-fair online (fim.e-salon.mg). The first day of opening of the virtual space of IFM will have recorded the visit of companies at the international level from Germany, Finland, France, Japan, Reunion (France), Madagascar, Czechoslovakia, USA and from the national point of view of Antananarivo, Fianarantsoa, Tamatave and Tuléar. e-FIM precedes the opening in presential of the “real” IFM fixed for September 9, 2021.
