Madagascar
The African Development Bank (AfDB) has appointed Adam Amoumoun as office manager for Madagascar. Before joining the AfDB then, this appointment for Madagascar, the Nigerien Adam Amoumoun was in charge of procurement at the African Union Commission in Ethiopia and regional technical assistant for the regional public procurement reform program at the Commission of UEMOA in Ouagadougou. He began his career in the Nigerien civil service, where he held various positions, including that of adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Niger. Adam Amoumoun holds a Masters in Banking and Finance (1998) from the Giordano Dell Amore Institute, in Milan (Italy), and a higher diploma in public administration (1992) from the National School of Administration ( ENA) from Niamey, Niger.
